Pursuant to new Louisiana Revised Statute 22:512(17)(b)(vi)(gg) this search is for refinance transactions only and will include a search of at least ten years and two links in the chain of title.

Current Ownership Report

This report reflects public record information relating to the current property owner of record. Included in this report are the name(s) the subject property is vested in at the time of the public records search, along with the reporting of any open mortgages, judgments, liens, etc., as well as information reflecting property tax status. This search is not a full abstract of title, but rather covers the time period from the date of acquisition of the reported owner(s) to present and a search for recorded encumbrances of the report owner(s) during the previous ten years.

PMM Search

This report reflects public record information going back in the chain of title at least 24 months. If the current owner gave a purchase money mortgage to an institutional lender at time of acquisition, search is brought forward from the vesting deed. If not, search goes back additional link(s). Included in this report is the name(s) the subject property is vested in at the time of the public records search, along with the reporting of any open mortgages, judgments, liens, etc., as well as information reflecting property tax status. Attorney reviewed for issuance of Louisiana Title Policy.

30 Year Search

This report reflects public record information going back 30 years in the chain of title. Included in this report are the name(s) the subject property is vested in at the time of the public records search, along with the reporting of any open mortgages, judgments, liens, etc., as well as information reflecting property tax status. Attorney reviewed for issuance of Louisiana Title Policy.

Deed/Tax Search 

This is a search for a current copy of the deed filed of record and the property tax assessment number.

J&L Search

This report is a search of judgments and liens only found of record at the time of the public records search.

Update

This is a search from the effective date of original search request forward. It reports any new conveyance or mortgages recordings or cancellations.
